We built a company-information database covering millions of companies, serving as the core of a sales-support AI service. It is the heart of the service — the data foundation the AI uses to extract prospects and generate tailored messages.
Role
We single-handedly covered every stage of the data platform: designing and implementing the data collection (scraping) logic, managing and optimizing collection and operating costs, and defining and designing the master data.
Project Highlights
The core challenge was building a system that continuously collects and updates data at the scale of millions of companies while maintaining quality. Handling the differing structure of each data source, balancing cost against freshness, and defining master data that AI can easily consume — a project that tested large-scale data platform design skills.
